Playjacent™ is our event format: an extraordinary variety of ways to Play, brought together under one roof.
Games, workshops, art, music, performances, unusual activities, and designated, regulated spaces for public intimacy.
We started with DIY events in New York City. As we grew, we opened our events to the public, welcoming larger audiences and expanding into top NYC venues. Our events now range from 100 people to 500 or more.

Every Playjacent™ party is different.
One night might include a rave, live performances, body painting, games, workshops, conversation prompts, and a dozen things you didn’t expect to find at the same event.
Another might look completely different.
What remains constant is the format: an eclectic collection of experiences that would ordinarily happen in separate places, brought together under one roof.
Every Playjacent™ event also includes designated, regulated spaces for public intimacy. They’re part of the experience, but you’re never required to enter them.

Life Itself exists to bring them together.
We believe these emerging experiences belong to something larger: a new cultural sector called Play.
